Artis HR is Partnering with a Successful Business to Recruit a Learning & Development Specialist

Artis HR are delighted to be partnering with a successful, fast-paced business to recruit a Learning & Development Specialist.

This isn't a traditional training role. We're looking for someone who is passionate about instructional design and creating engaging learning experiences that genuinely improve capability across a business.

You'll be joining an established Learning & Development team, taking ownership of designing and developing high-quality blended learning solutions that are practical, commercially focused and built around business outcomes.

This role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with stakeholders and creating learning that people actually want to use.

The Opportunity

Working alongside People Partners, operational leaders and subject matter experts, you'll identify capability gaps and design learning solutions that support colleagues across the organisation.

Approximately 70% of your time will be spent designing and developing learning content, with the remaining 30% focused on facilitating workshops and partnering with the business.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Designing engaging blended learning solutions across digital, virtual and face-to-face formats.
  • Building structured learning pathways for a variety of roles.
  • Creating digital learning resources, video content, toolkits and practical learning materials.
  • Conducting learning needs analysis and translating business challenges into effective learning solutions.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand operational priorities and recommend the right interventions.
  • Delivering workshops and learning sessions where required.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of learning programmes and continuously improving content through feedback and performance data.
  • Keeping up to date with modern learning technologies and instructional design best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
