Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Learning & Development Trainer to support our care homes across the region. This is a key role responsible for ensuring that all services meet mandatory training and compliance requirements, while promoting safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

You will deliver a range of mandatory and specialist training, including Moving & Handling, Fire Safety and Fire Warden training, and in-house bespoke induction and training programmes. Working closely with Registered Managers, Deputy Managers, and senior leadership teams, you will support services to maintain compliance, embed learning into practice, and continuously improve standards of care.

You will also play an important role in monitoring training compliance, supporting services during audits and inspections, and identifying learning needs to reduce risk and improve outcomes.

About You We are looking for a confident and engaging trainer with strong experience in health and social care. You will be passionate about learning and development, quality, and compliance, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple care homes.

Key skills and experience include: Experience delivering training within health and social care settings Strong knowledge of Moving & Handling, Fire Safety, and care home compliance Experience supporting services to meet regulatory and training compliance standards Ability to work collaboratively with managers and senior teams Confident presentation and facilitation skills Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently across multiple sites Good understanding of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
