Learning Manager – Partner & Established Director Development

What Your Role Involves

As an experienced and high-performing Learning Manager, you’ll work closely with Partners and Directors, leading development initiatives for some of our most senior leaders. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering leadership development programmes across all stages—from analysis and design to implementation—to ensure measurable impact.
  • Supporting the wider Partner and Director Development team in operations such as supplier management, financial tracking, and budget oversight.
  • Driving our change journey to improve leadership programme experience, value, and impact.
  • Demonstrating program ownership, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Owning stakeholder engagement—balancing collaboration with senior leadership while managing external vendor relationships.

Specific key areas of responsibility:

Programme Design & Delivery

  • Design (and support design of) innovative programmes using the 5Di process.
  • Align with Partner & Director Development Senior Manager to refine teacher guidelines, content, and investments in Deloitte University EMEA.
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams across industries (leadership, profit skills, commercial, tech & data, markets & sector).
  • Ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards, monitoring training activities via analytics and data reporting.

Operational & Vendor Management

  • Manage Participant & RTM (Experience Tracking) communications.
  • Run supplier selection processes, maintain contracts, and oversee client support delivery.
  • Partner with Procurement for strategic sourcing decisions, particularly for external facilitators.
  • Track and optimise budgets against programme delivery deadlines.

Data-Driven Decisions

  • Provide participant feedback insights to refine and improve programmes.
  • Report on attendance, retention, and leadership performance metrics to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with administrative teams (LTSS) to ensure smooth co-ordination of nomination processes.

Event & Logistic Coordination

  • Lead setup of partnership-level and director-level learning events, including:
    • Scheduling delegates
    • Managing invitations, logistics, and resource materials
  • Support ad hoc facilitation as needed.

Continuous Improvement

  • Integrate feedback and trend analysis into long-term programme enhancement.
  • Drive curriculum digital transformation to align with future learning needs.

Who We’re Looking For

We need a high-octane, detail-oriented professional with:

  • 3+ years in public sector or corporate L&D, with a track record of scaling high-impact leadership development programmes.
  • Strong consultative capabilities to engage meaningfully with Partners, Directors, and high-level attendees.
  • Credentialled training-provider experience or conceptual external vendor selection.
  • Commercial mindset with a critical lens on budget control and return-on-investment tracking.
  • Proven Stakeholder engagement skills, including handling diverse personalities and P&L conversations.
  • Microsoft Office proficient (especially Excel, Power BI for data touches) and popular tools like SharePoint or Moodle.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance flexibility with hard-won timelines; structured self-management.
  • Agile mindset desirable (self-direction, maturity in handling open requests).

Skills & Experience

Essential
