About the Role
The Governing Body seeks to appoint a Learning Mentor on a permanent, part-time contract. This role will:
- Support pupils facing barriers to learning through a complementary (non-teaching) service, aligning with the school’s pastoral team and teachers.

Requirements & Standards
To be considered:
- Enthusiasm and dedication to supporting learners who need additional pastoral guidance.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills (“people person” mindset).
- Ability to inspire and motivate young people.
- Compliance with safeguarding standards for issue 1953 safeguarding measures.
- Enhanced DBS clearance required (exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974).
- Checks for a children’s barred list.
- Additional online background checks for short-listed candidates.
- Adherence to fundamental British values.
