To educate and upskill operational colleagues through training, coaching, and knowledge transfer initiatives.

About the Role

Learning Operations Analyst at Barclays

We are looking for an organised and proactive Learning Operations Analyst to support the coordination and delivery of learning activities for operational teams. The role will help colleagues develop the required knowledge and skills through structured training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and schedule inductions, training sessions, and learning activities
  • Support the delivery of training, coaching, and knowledge-transfer initiatives
  • Maintain accurate learning records, attendance information, schedules, and training materials
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, standards, and governance requirements
  • Track training completion and prepare regular updates and reports
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, trainers, and stakeholders
  • Support identification and follow-up of training needs
  • Assisting in reviewing and improving learning materials and processes
  • Manage learning-related queries with a helpful and professional service
  • Organise priorities and ensure timely, accurate task completion

The role is responsible for:

Technical & Operational Accountabilities

  • Develop and manage training programs, workshops, and knowledge transfer initiatives for operational banking teams
  • Monitor effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements
  • Identify industry trends and implement best practices in learning and development
  • Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate across the business to pinpoint skill and knowledge gaps
  • Support operational efficiency projects and learning and development initiatives

Development & Execution

  • Create and deliver training programs, workshops, and knowledge transfer initiatives
  • Conduct training needs assessments and knowledge gap analysis
  • Schedule and facilitate inductions, training sessions
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and governance requirements

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track training attendance, completion rates
  • Generate regular reports on training effectiveness
  • Analyse training impact and suggest improvements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in operations, training coordination, learning administration, or similar role
  • Experience in scheduling inductions, onboarding, or training activities
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping
  • Proficient communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines
  • Confidence in workplace systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in fast-paced operational environments
  • Familiarity with Workday Learning or Learning Management Systems
  • Understanding of learning standards, governance, or quality processes
  • Experience with basic reporting or tracking learning activities

Location: Primarily London; other locations considered for the right candidate.
