Our client is a leading trade union advocating for teachers and school leaders across the UK and internationally. They are seeking an exceptional Learning & Organisational Development Manager to shape their people, culture, and organisational performance.

About the Role
As the Learning & Organisational Development Manager, you will be instrumental in building the organisation’s capabilities and driving strategic success. Core responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the organisation’s L&D and OD strategy, ensuring it aligns with broader objectives.
- Development Solutions: Identify skills gaps and design impactful, tailored learning programmes to address them.
- Leadership Development: Design and oversee leadership and management development programmes to cultivate high-potential talent.
- Performance Framework: Embed a performance and development system that fosters employee growth and engagement.
- EDI Advocacy: Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives across the organisation.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive employee engagement, fostering a positive, inclusive organisational culture.
- Data-Driven Improvement: Use insight and analytics to measure impact and continuously enhance outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leaders, teams, and decision-makers to influence and execute meaningful change.

About You
We’re seeking a strategic, forward-thinking professional with the credibility, expertise, and strategic vision to shape L&D, OD, and culture initiatives.
You’ll have:
- Qualifications: A recognised credential in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or HR (e.g., CIPD L7 or equivalent).
- Senior Leadership Experience: Extensive experience leading L&D and OD strategy in a medium to large organisation.
- Expertise: Proven track record in:
- Organisational change management
- Leadership development programmes
- Advancing EDI and inclusion in workplace initiatives
- Analytical Skills: Ability to harness data and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Communication & Relationship-Building: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in stakeholder engagement and change management.
- Balanced Approach: Capacity to navigate high-level strategy while delivering hands-on programmes.
- Flexibility: Readiness for occasional national travel.
