Learning Services Advisor - Job Description

Learning Services Advisor (LSA)

Location: Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom

Salary: £26,300 to £28,800 per annum (FTE)

Job Type: Term Time Only - Permanent dependant on funding

About Access Education Group

At Access Education Group, we are dedicated to empowering learners and supporting educational excellence across the UK. Our commitment to providing tailored learning solutions and outstanding support services helps students and educators alike achieve their full potential. We’re seeking a passionate and organised Learning Services Advisor (LSA) to join our Norwich team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our learners’ experience.

Role Overview

As a Learning Services Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for learners and educators, providing expert guidance, administrative support, and ensuring smooth delivery of learning services. Your role is essential to our success in delivering quality education and fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Please note, this role is Term Time Only and is dependant on continued receipt of external funding. The funding is provided as long as we are engaging Higher Need students at the college. While we do not anticipate changes of this nature occurring, we wish to be fully transparent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, clear, and friendly advice to learners and staff regarding course information, support services, and enrolment procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate learner records and databases in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of learning resources and materials as required.
  • Assist with organising events, workshops, and assessments to enhance the learner experience.
  • Identify and escalate issues or concerns to senior staff, ensuring appropriate support is provided promptly.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback and suggesting enhancements to learning services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational policies, funding guidelines, and sector developments relevant to the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
