Learning Support Assistant

Learning Support Assistant – Capital City College Group

Are you ready to make an impact at one of London’s leading Further Education providers?

Capital City College is looking for a skilled Learning Support Assistant to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.


About the Role

This role is offered on a part-time, term-time only permanent basis (40 weeks per year).

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide individual and small-group learning support for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities (including emotional and/or behavioural difficulties).
  • Differentiate and adapt learning materials to meet the specific needs of each learner.
  • Work across campuses, offering floating and targeted support, both 1:1 and in group settings.

About You

We’re looking for a reliable, motivated individual who:

  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills, balancing multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicates clearly, professionally, and consistently.
  • Is confident using systems and processes with ** Robust IT and tracking abilities**.
  • Shows a proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
  • Has practical experience supporting learners with learning/behavioural disabilities (ages 14+).
