Learning Support Assistant 1:1

Learning Support Assistant 1:1 – Permanent, Term-Time Only (37 Hours/Week)

About the Role

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (1:1) to join our BCA team in a permanent, term-time-only (37 weeks/year) capacity.

Salary: £21,166.19 – £22,662.10 ( band G17/G19) or £25,483.00 – £27,284.00 (including non-contributory pension contributions).


Key Responsibilities

  • Work 37 hours per week (Monday–Friday) during term-time only to support students with accessing the curriculum.
  • Enable individual students to reaching their learning goals, as outlined in their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
  • Work under the direction of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager, and lecturers:
    • Assist in teaching, learning, and associated activities.
    • Provide 1:1 support for students with specific needs.
    • Help plan, deliver, and evaluate learning activities.
    • Collaborate with pastoral and welfare staff to help students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Ensure support aligns with college policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines.
