Learning Support Assistant Havering
GBP85.50 - GBP110 per day Term Time Immediate Start
Reeson Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Havering. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a structured and supportive setting.
The school is based in Havering, with excellent transport links from Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster and Rainham. The school prides itself on its inclusive approach, making it an ideal place for a Learning Support Assistant to grow and gain valuable experience.
Role Overview
Learning Support Assistant
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. The Learning Support Assistant will work alongside teachers to ensure pupils remain engaged and are able to access learning effectively.
The Learning Support Assistant will also contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.

Responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant
- Providing support as a Learning Support Assistant on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
- Promoting engagement and participation in lessons
- Helping pupils build confidence and independence
Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role
- Understanding of SEN such as autism, ADHD or SEMH
- A calm, patient and supportive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
