About This Opportunity

Come and work in a school where students and staff matter. Our care, candour and collaborative practices ensure year on year success!

We are currently seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work within our inclusion department. The role will include working with students in all year groups who experience barriers to learning, being a ‘lead worker’ for a specific number of students and coordinating planning, reviewing the impact of provision with parents/carers.

The successful candidate will be flexible enough to meet the changing demands of a busy school day and able to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and will have excellent communication skills, as well as a good attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to your work.

Wingfield Academy has become an oversubscribed and high performing secondary school, placing it as one of the highest performing schools in Rotherham and in the top 7% nationally for progress. Wingfield has also been named a national lead school as part of the DFE’s behaviour hub programme. The Academy is looking to expand and develop further, attracting the best people to work alongside our dedicated and ambitious staff who go the extra mile to make a quantifiable and powerful contribution to social mobility. We focus on the things that matter.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
