Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant : SEND Support : Haringey : Primary Schools
Primary Schools across Haringey, North London are recruiting proactive and compassionate Learning Support Assistant staff to support pupils with SEND on a daily supply and short-term basis.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils requiring additional support, including children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural needs. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be adaptable, patient, and confident supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support as a Learning Support Assistant
- Supporting pupils with SEND needs as a Learning Support Assistant
- Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour as a Learning Support Assistant
- Supporting classroom learning as a Learning Support Assistant
- Working alongside teachers and SENCOs as a Learning Support Assistant
- Encouraging pupil engagement and independence as a Learning Support Assistant

Psychology graduates and candidates with SEN experience are encouraged.
