Are you seeking a rewarding role improving the lives of young people?
We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and committed Learning Support Assistants to join our dedicated team.
About us:
Family Care is a small family-owned organisation providing specialist SEN education, fostering and residential care across the North West and West Midlands. We are committed to supporting vulnerable children and young people through nurturing, therapeutic services that have a lasting impact on their lives.
At Rodenhurst School, relationships come first. We are a small, specialist school supporting children and young people whose needs mean that mainstream education has not always been the right fit. Our pupils present primarily with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside Autism, ADHD and demand-avoidant (PDA) profiles. Many of our pupils require a calm, flexible and therapeutic approach in order to feel safe enough to learn.
Rodenhurst provides a nurturing, structured environment where staff work closely together to support pupils both academically and emotionally. We believe that progress looks different for every child and value growth in confidence, communication, regulation and independence as much as academic achievement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
