Graduate Learning Support Assistant
Are you a graduate who has a passion for supporting children and young people with SEN? Would you like to support pupils overcome barriers to learning, ensuring they receive a truly inclusive education? Join this fantastic secondary school in Stockport and truly make a difference for the full academic year from September 2026!
This role is ideal for a graduate looking to gain some school-based experience, prior to further study.
Graduate Learning Support Assistant - the role
- An ideal way to gain experience in an outstanding secondary school
- Based in Stockport (other schools in other local boroughs available)
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Work with pupils who have additional need such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, medical needs and more.
- Receive excellent support from the school and Aspire People
- Long term position - Paid £95-£104 per day
- Work Monday - Friday school hours 8:30-3:30, term time only
- DBS check required, safeguarding training provided

Graduate Learning Support Assistant - Requirements
- Degree 2:2 or above, ideally psychology but any subject considered.
- Level 3 TA qualification will also be considered
- Experience or knowledge of SEN
- Confident and enthusiastic, with a love of learning!
- Passionate about education and supporting children with SEN.
