A supportive and welcoming primary school located in Havering, London are seeking 2 Learning Support Assistants to join them as soon as possible. This role will be working 1:1 with an allocated child in assisting with their everyday learning. This is a full time role from September 2026 to July 2027. There will be opportunities for permanent contracts.

This primary school is looking to appoint strong, enthusiastic, committed and creative Support Assistants to work with children with a range of abilities including those with an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). They are looking for LSAs who are experienced working with SEN and to be flexible in their approach by enhancing teaching and learning, and pastoral care through various ways.
The successful candidates will work closely with the class teacher, Phase Lead and SENCO, and should have good literacy, numeracy skills and a professional approach to provide support to our teachers and students in the classroom, covering a variety of learning activities. Candidates must also be able to use their own initiatives and have a good standard of spoken and written English. They must have proven experience in a school setting working with primary age group children.

You will also provide support to the wider school and as an integral member of the Learning & Teaching team. You will be part of the planning and development meetings each week and required to provide class cover when needed. The ideal candidate will relish the challenge of working in a fast paced environment. You will be highly committed in your desire to make a real difference to the lives of young people.
This school are looking for experienced LSAs only and you must have experience working with a range of Special Educational Needs.
You will have the choice of working in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience and preference.
