Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils in the Farnborough area. This role involves supporting teachers and students in the classroom, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
You will provide a combination of 1:1 support and small-group assistance, helping pupils develop confidence, stay engaged with their learning, and achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about making a positive impact in education.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 support and assist with small-group learning activities
- Support pupils during lessons, classroom activities, and school routines
- Help pupils remain focused, engaged, and confident in their learning
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation and learning resources
- Encourage positive behaviour and learning habits
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently

Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people
- Patient, supportive, and approachable manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and responsive to different pupil needs
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Backgrounds in childcare, youth work, coaching, or education welcomed
- Graduates looking to gain school experience encouraged to apply
Contract Details
- Position: Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Farnborough
- Start Date: 02/09/2026
- Working Pattern: Full-time, term-time
- Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.66 per hour
- Key Stages: Primary / Secondary

Experience, Training & Safeguarding
- Experience working with children desirable
