Learning Support Assistant: Kensington and Chelsea

GBP 95 - GBP 115 per day
A welcoming primary school in Kensington and Chelsea is looking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant to join its support team immediately.
This Learning Support Assistant role will involve working with pupils across KS1 and KS2 who require additional academic and pastoral support. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide a combination of classroom assistance, small-group interventions, and targeted support to help pupils develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
The school has invested heavily in additional support staff and intervention programmes, creating a collaborative environment where Learning Support Assistants play a key role in improving outcomes for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils within mainstream lessons
- Delivering targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
- Helping pupils stay focused and engaged during learning activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
- Working closely with teachers and the SEN team

The Ideal Candidate
The School Is Seeking a Learning Support Assistant Who
- Has experience working with primary-aged children
- Is patient, adaptable, and proactive
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is confident supporting learning in small groups
- Has a genuine passion for education
Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential.
