We are looking for multiple Learning Support Assistants to join our team. This is a 24 hours per week, term time only role offering a salary of £14,655 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide appropriate support for individual or groups of students in/out of class, in accordance with their individual support plan, so that they achieve their learning goals.
  • To work with subject and ALS tutors to ensure appropriate and effective support to meet individual student needs.
  • To contribute to the maintenance of all necessary tracking and monitoring documentation (e.g. daily records; student reviews).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSE passes (Grade 9 to 4) or equivalent including English and Maths
  • Experience of MS Office packages: Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • Be able to support young people and adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in a variety of setting.
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of how to work with other professionals to support learning.
