Learning Support Assistant

Are you ready to make an impact at one of London’s leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for a skilled Learning Support Assistant to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About the Learning Support Assistant Role
This role is offered on a part-time, term-time only permanent basis—working 40 weeks per year. You will:
- Support learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional and behavioural challenges.
- Differentiate and facilitate learning in line with individual learner needs.
- Work in small group settings, 1:1 sessions, and as a floating support assistant across the campuses.

About You
We seek a reliable and motivated individual proud of delivering excellence in service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong ability to organise and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills that are clear, professional, and empathetic.
- Confidence using systems and processes, with strong IT and tracking skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn, adapt, and grow.
- Experience supporting learners aged 14+ with learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, or disabilities.
- A passion for fostering a positive, inclusive community within education.
