The Role

City College Plymouth are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join our team. The successful postholder will be focused on raising student experience and achievement, through adapting classroom materials and using adaptive strategies to enable learning for students. The postholder will work closely with the teaching team, understanding the curriculum and how they can embed learning and develop the student experience. The postholder will be adept in breaking down barriers for students, scaffolding learning and able to work in a busy and fast paced environment that meets the needs of large volumes of young people with SEND. The postholder will also support young people with taking their medication and where necessary, supporting with toileting needs.
