The Role – Learning Support Assistant
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with additional learning needs
- Assist teachers in delivering targeted interventions and differentiated learning
- Help maintain an inclusive, positive classroom environment
- Support progress, confidence, and independence across KS3–KS4
- Contribute to wider school life, enrichment, and pastoral support
The Ideal Learning Support Assistant
- A patient, motivated, and empathetic individual
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people
- Experience working with children or SEN (desirable, not essential)
- A proactive team player eager to grow as a Learning Support Assistant
- High expectations for behaviour, engagement, and progress
