Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant (Immediate Start) – Outstanding School
We are currently working with an Outstanding Ofsted-rated establishment, with multiple sites across the UK. The school prides itself on meeting each child’s individual needs by employing reliable, compassionate staff and continuously expanding resources. This is a full-time role starting ASAP.
About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced, motivated, and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team, supporting children with a range of needs.
While experience in a support, care, or education setting is strongly preferred, it is not essential.
This term-time contract (starting immediately) runs through to the end of the academic year. The role requires a 5-day-per-week commitment, working 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a structured classroom setting of 6–8 pupils, providing tailored support.
- Deliver 1:1 or small-group interventions to enhance children’s learning and desarrollo.
- Collaborate with teachers and senior staff to ensure inclusive education.
- Contribute to a positive, nurturing environment for children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management, safeguarding, and confidentiality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
