We currently have exciting opportunities for passionate, dedicated and skilled Learning Support Assistants.

We have various hours available.

The rate of pay is currently £11.78 per hour. This is a term time role, paid for 44.02 week (37 working weeks 7.02 paid leave weeks).

Duties

Delivering 1:1 support in the classroom with the possibility of small group support. Provision of appropriate additional learning support to learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. Achievement of learning outcomes, by learners receiving additional learning support, as detailed in individual learning plans. Good communication between learning support and curriculum staff resulting in seamless additional learning support delivered to all entitled learners in the most appropriate manner and location.

Skills/experience

You will have experience or the potential to become an outstanding learning support assistant. Experience of supporting individuals to achieve their goals. Well organised and hold an excellent range of communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.

Qualifications

Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent. Level 2 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent desirable.
