We are seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic Learning Support Mentor to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within our inclusive school community. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support students who require additional help to access learning and develop confidence both academically and socially.

This role may involve 1:1 support, small group work, and classroom assistance, helping to create a safe, structured and positive learning environment.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Has experience in SEN.
  • Has a passion for education and making a difference to children’s lives.
  • Is passionate about providing a caring, nurturing environment, sympathetic to our Christian values.
  • Is or has the potential to be an excellent classroom practitioner.
  • Is confident to liaise with other professionals.
  • Is able to inspire and motivate our learners.
  • Has high expectations and a drive to enable pupils to be the best that they can be.

  • Has the desire to grow, learn and lead.
  • Has a positive and optimistic approach; are proactive and confident.
  • Uses resources, intellect, creativity, and innovation to be successful.
