• Bring a wealth of commercial floristry experience and a strong awareness of current trends and innovations within the industry.
• Be passionate about their craft and committed to nurturing the next generation of florists, equipping learners with the skills, creativity and business acumen required to succeed in a competitive market.
• Provide effective pastoral support and contribute to high-quality wraparound care, ensuring learners feel safe, supported and valued throughout their learning journey.
• Promote learners’ wellbeing, resilience and positive attitudes to learning, responding appropriately to individual needs and signposting to additional support where required.
• Create an inclusive environment that supports attendance, engagement and personal development, enabling learners to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
• Be an engaging and motivational educator who can both challenge and support learners to achieve their full potential, encouraging creative thinking while developing high professional standards.

Safeguarding Commitment

The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Employees will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive checking process including references from current and previous employers, health, right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list. To comply with legislation, you are required to obtain a DBS check for your role. We will be asking Protocol National Ltd/Esafeguarding Ltd to undertake this process on our behalf.
