Job No: 540760 Location: Randwick Clinical Campus, Sydney, NSW Work Type: Part-Time


Role Overview

Employment Type: Part-time (7 hours per week) Duration: 2-year fixed-term Remuneration: $133,065 base (prorated) + 17% superannuation, leave loading Work Rights: Visa sponsorship not available – Candidates must have full Australian work rights.

This Education Focused (EF) role supports clinical teaching for students in the UNSW Medicine Program at Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick Clinical Campus.

UNSW’s EF roles enable academics to specialise in teaching and learning, delivering high-quality education while advancing initiatives to enrich student experiences.


Key Responsibilities

-Lead and develop clinical teaching programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students. -Collaborate with faculty on curriculum design and educational innovation. -Conduct high-quality teaching, integrating educational technologies and online learning. -Monitor and enhance student outcomes through impactful education strategies. -Engage authentically with diverse student groups to foster equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Essential Requirements

  • Suitable clinical background (preferably with a higher degree in a related field) or relevant professional experience.
  • Passionate educator with demonstrated experience in teaching, learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
  • Proficient in educational technologies and online teaching platforms.
  • Track record of evidence-based teaching excellence (e.g., curriculum design, innovative pedagogy).
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a commitment to mentoring diverse learners.
  • (Desirable) Industry knowledge or work-integrated learning experience.
