Lecturer - Education Focused (Randwick Clinical Campus)
Work type: Part Time Location: Sydney, NSW Job no: 540760
- Employment Type: Part-time (7 hours per week)
- Duration: 2-Year Fixed Term
- Remuneration: $133,065 base (prorated) + 17% superannuation and leave loading
- Work rights: Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must hold full work rights in Australia.
- Location: Randwick Clinical Campus
About the Role
This Education Focused role supports clinical teaching for students in the UNSW Medicine Program at Prince of Wales Hospital, part of the Randwick Clinical Campus of the School of Clinical Medicine.
UNSW’s Education Focused (EF) roles allow academics to specialise in education, delivering high-quality teaching and implementing initiatives to enhance the educational experience for students. Appointees are expected to drive educational excellence within UNSW’s teaching and learning communities.
Key Skills and Experience Required

A suitable clinical background with:
- A higher degree in a related discipline or
- Relevant work experience

Actively keeps up-to-date with discipline knowledge and professional development

Demonstrated experience in:
- Teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels

Experience:
- Using and/or designing educational technologies
- Online delivery methods

Evidence of:
- Teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., curriculum design and development for various levels and scales)
- Industry knowledge OR experience working with work-integrated learning (desirable)

Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills

Ability to:
- Support and inspire diverse student backgrounds
- Advocate for student equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
