About the Role
This Education Focussed role involves supporting clinical teaching for students in the UNSW Medicine Program based at Prince of Wales Hospital within the Randwick Clinical Campus of the School of Clinical Medicine.
A key part of UNSW’s Education Focussed (EF) program, this appointment allows academics to concentrate on teaching excellence, while enabling the candidate to lead quality education initiatives for UNSW’s diverse student communities.
Responsibilities
Key skills and experience required include:
- A relevant clinical background, complemented by a higher degree in a related discipline or substantial work experience.
- An active commitment to professional development and staying updated in their field.
- Strong experience in undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching, including curriculum design, delivery, and learning assessment.
- Experience with educational technologies and digital learning tools.
- Evidence of effective teaching and a dedication to educational excellence (e.g., designing and implementing curricula).
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards or experience in work-integrated learning (preferable).
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills to support an inclusive, equitable learning environment.
