The vacancy

Are you ready to inspire the engineers of tomorrow? DNCG are looking to recruit lecturers in Electrical Installation to join our dynamic team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • Level 5 Teaching Qualification or willing to work towards
  • Experience working as an electrician
  • 18th Edition is desirable
  • Maths & English GCSE’s (C/Level 4 and above)
  • A maintained subject knowledge on industry developments, and links with the sector.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning and working environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering a high-quality teaching and learning experience to a cohort of engineering students.
  • Implementing new technologies into programmes of study
  • Building relationships both across group and externally with industry partners to further enhance the teaching experience, and encourage progression into industry
  • Integrating functional skills into lessons.
  • Managing student behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

We are looking to diversify the experience of our DNCG teaching associates, we value both industry and academic experience – did you know that you could work as a Lecturer while being supported through your teaching qualifications? Making the transition from industry to education is a seamless transition and something that we can support you with, we offer a Let’s teach programme Trade to teach and mentor support with a reduced timetable.
