Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in English to join the team at Berkshire College of Agriculture.
About the Role
This is a permanent, part-time position with an actual salary ranging from £25,306.40 (T1) to £36,272.80 (T11), depending on qualifications and experience. The full-time equivalent salary for this scale is £31,633 to £45,341.
The expected start date is Wednesday, 19th August 2026.
Core Responsibilities
As a Lecturer – English (0.8), you will:
- Teach post-16 learners in GCSE or Functional Skills qualifications, supporting them to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants to adapt teaching methods, ensuring every student can participate and progress.
- Use assessments to identify knowledge gaps and guide learners’ improvement.
- Promote attendance and confidence in English among students who may find the subject challenging or unengaging.
