Job Title: Lecturer - Forensic Science
Location: Lowestoft Sixth Form College
Hours: 11.1 hours per week (0.3FTE)
Contract: Fixed Term until July 2028
Salary: Lecturer Scale £35,112.48 - £41,600.00 (Full Time Equivalent) based on qualifications and experience

As a Forensic Science Lecturer within a highly experienced and supportive curriculum team, your subject expertise and knowledge will not only help our BTEC students succeed in their qualification, but also your ability to cultivate aspirations will help them identify and navigate their next steps.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.
Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list.
