**Teaching **A-Level Psychology at Oaklands College

Key Responsibilities
- To teach A-Level Psychology in line with the AQA syllabus
- To plan and develop engaging, comprehensive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Manage student behaviour and engagement in line with College behaviour policy
- To set and mark assignments, monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help students improve and prepare for A-Level exams
- To maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades
- To write reports and communicate with parents about student progress
- To contribute to departmental development through:
- Participation in curriculum planning
- Quality assurance
- Internal verification of student work
- Professional development activities

Is this you?
- A degree in Psychology or a related field
- Familiarity with current research and advancements to keep lessons relevant and interesting
- Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills
- Skill in explaining difficult ideas in an accessible way for students
