About Us
The UEL Nursing and Midwifery programmes have grown dynamically over the last few years and we are now seeking to recruit to a 1 year FTC Adult Nursing post to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting time to join an enthusiastic team of academics and to get involved in teaching, delivery and leading of the pre-registration 3rd year adult nursing practice module and to engage in a range of academic activities at the University of East London.
At UEL, we work with a number of local leading trust partners who offer innovative placement experiences that enrich student experience and meet the essential learning needs for each course. The nursing and midwifery courses at University of East London thrives on supportive partnership relationships with practice partners across the communities of East London and serves to support the health and social care needs of the local population.

About You
We invite enthusiastic candidates who are Adult Nursing nurses registered with the NMC in the UK and hold a relevant degree. Candidates must have a strong passion for student-focused teaching, and a clear understanding and respect for the unique needs of the widening participation cohorts of students. The successful applicants will also have excellent knowledge of the professional and academic requirements of UK Higher Education programmes and will be able to contribute to the development of nursing in the university.
About The Job
The successful candidate will be required to module lead the adult nursing practice 3 module and therefore candidates must have relevant experience of 3rd year adult nursing skills and some experience of teaching skills either in clinical practice or an academic setting.
