Lecturer in Animal Management – Full-Time (37 hours per week)

About the Role
We are recruiting for two full-time Lecturer in Animal Management roles, working within our Animal Management department at our Puxton Park campus.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site in Weston-super-Mare.
Key Responsibilities
As a Lecturer in Animal Management, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a number of Animal Management programmes, as agreed with the Head of Area.
- Tutoring students, demonstrating sensitivity to their needs and encouraging the highest possible standards.
- Meeting targets regarding student progress, attendance, and retention.
- Offering advice and guidance to students as they progress towards either employment or further courses at the College.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
- Teaching experience and knowledge of current teaching strategies.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Either:
- A teaching qualification, or
- A willingness to obtain this qualification whilst in post (with the support of Weston College).
