We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring individual to join the team to deliver to a high standard and enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability. Our colleges are part of the Welsh Government Seren Network scheme designed to support the most able to realise their full academic potential and progress to the best Universities.
The successful candidate will be expected to be teaching at the Pwllheli campus on Mondays and Wednesdays, and the Dolgellau campus on Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. You will have the opportunity to work in a modern, well equipped environment where practical experimentation is at the heart of learning with the support of a dedicated technician.
Our ideal candidate would have previous teaching experience. However, we also welcome subject experts who are looking to take their first steps into teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high standards of teaching and learning and provide ongoing support, advice and guidance that promotes learner success. We would like to work with you to develop your professional skills in order to offer learners the best possible experience.

Key Expectations Of The Role
- Teaching to a high standard in order to create effective learning opportunities and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability. You would be expected to design and deliver engaging lessons that challenge students and foster a love for the subject.
- Provide excellent extracurricular experiences for our learners. We are looking for an educator who is excited to take learning beyond the walls of the classroom. You will have the flexibility and support to lead exploratory trips and subject enrichment opportunities.
- Maintain the high standards of the provision with the support given to the learners. You will be required to provide high quality feedback and interventions to ensure that every student reaches or exceeds their target grade.
- Ensure that the Grwp's policies and procedures are followed.
- Supporting learners to succeed in order to achieve their targets and higher, by stretching and challenging our learners.
