Role

We are seeking a Lecturer in Business to join our team our team from September 2026.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Business programmes, helping learners to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for further study and employment. You will be passionate about your subject and committed to creating engaging, inclusive and aspirational learning experiences.

What You’ll Do

Deliver engaging, well-planned and ambitious lessons across Business programmes Teach across BTEC Level 3 Business units, supporting learners to achieve their full potential Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback Plan learning that builds knowledge and skills over time Use innovative teaching methods and digital tools to support learning Maintain a positive, disciplined and inclusive classroom environment Track student progress and use data to inform teaching and support achievement Contribute to quality assurance, course review and curriculum development Support enrichment, employer engagement and student progression opportunities Participate in open events, parents’ evenings and cross-college activities

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Business (or related subject) Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed or equivalent) Experience teaching BTEC Business at Level 3 Strong knowledge of Business subject content (including finance modules) Ability to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching Experience assessing work and supporting student progress Strong communication and teamwork skills Please refer to the person specification for further details.
