Digital Marketing School (DMS) delivers high-quality programmes to students. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive learning environment that combines academic excellence with practical industry insight. Our current provision includes OTHM Level 3 Diplomas in Business Studies, Business Management, and Health and Social Care.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Lecturer in Business to join our growing academic team. The successful candidate will deliver the OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Business Studies (60 Credits) and the OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Business Management (120 Credits). The postholder will play a key role in delivering engaging, learner-focused teaching and assessment, supporting student achievement, and contributing to the School's academic quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, tutorials, and workshops for OTHM Business programmes.
- Teach the OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Business Studies (60 Credits) and the OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Business Management (120 Credits).
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments that align with OTHM requirements.
- Support students in developing academic, professional, and employability skills.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments, provide timely and constructive feedback, and maintain accurate student records.
- Participate in internal verification, standardisation, and quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to the continuous development of course materials, teaching strategies, and curriculum enhancement.
- Engage in staff meetings, training, and curriculum reviews.
- Uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity, and data protection standards in line with institutional policies.

Requirements
Essential
- A degree in Business, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- A recognised L3 Teaching qualification, e.g., L3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent PTLLS) or 12 months of teaching experience in a relevant subject area.
- Assessing qualification (e.g. CAVA) or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience teaching or assessing Business qualifications at Level 3 or above.
- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centred teaching.

- Experience delivering OTHM qualifications or programmes from other UK awarding bodies.
- Experience of blended or online learning delivery.
- Industry experience in business, management, entrepreneurship, or marketing.
