Are you a scientist/Radiographer with an interest in diagnostic imaging? Would you like to develop and contribute to teaching, research and scholarship activities in diagnostic imaging? This is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team to enhance the profession through innovative education. Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University?

We are seeking someone with a background in the science of diagnostic imaging (such as medical physics, radiography or computing) with research experience and expertise of the clinical applications of computed tomography. We are particularly keen to receive applications from those with expertise in CT and artificial intelligence. You will contribute to the postgraduate and undergraduate programmes within our Institute, including the MSc Medical Imaging, BSc Diagnostic Radiography and BSc Medical Ultrasound programmes, and our teaching on programmes from other Schools such as the BSc Physics and its variants. You will lead and develop student education provision, working with the vibrant community of student education focused academics.

Reports to:

Dr Pauline Mitchell, Head of Specialist Science Education Department

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
