Vacancy Summary
Up to four Lecturers in English are being recruited to strengthen the 2026/27 academic year, with opportunities available for both full-time and part-time roles.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and enhance the following essential duties:
- Teach students enrolling in a range of English courses
- Implement and refine feedback and assessment systems to ensure accurate tracking of learning progress
- Modify teaching methods based on assessment results
- Comply with the Quality Assurance framework
- Course management
- Oversee administration and organisation
- Deliver partial or full-sized classes
- Contribute to curriculum innovation, development and implementation
- Maintain a consistent, professional classroom environment
- Apply College behaviour management processes as needed.
- Continuously update teaching expertise, ensuring best outcomes for learners

Essential Criteria
Must meet all of the following:
- Hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or accredited teaching qualification.
- Achieved Level 3 in English (or equivalent).
- Proven track record of successful teaching across diverse student levels.
- In-depth understanding of curriculum content and assessment/exam requirements.
- Familiarity with value-added measures and progress performance analytics.
- Experience with building and maintaining external partnerships to enrich teaching and learning.
- Ability to deliver clear, constructive, and direct verbal/written feedback.
