Lecturer in English Literature (Fixed Term) – Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU)

About the Role
LJMU is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in English Literature to join our vibrant and successful subject area for 12 months (fixed term), to cover staff research leave.

- Leading modules at undergraduate level
- Providing personal tutoring
- Demonstrating expertise in eighteenth and early nineteenth-century literature
- Showing an interest in the role of technology in the history of and teaching of literature
- Willingness to engage with the research culture of the subject area
- Commitment to contributing to the student community, including community-building
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven teaching experience at university level
- Passion for eight-century and early nineteenth-century literature
- Experience incorporating technological perspectives in teaching and research
- Ability to foster an inclusive academic environment
- Contributory attitude toward collaborative research activities
