Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week) (Note: Sponsorship is not offered for this role)
The Role
We are seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Global Business Management programme in partnership with the University of Suffolk. Teaching may require flexibility to deliver sessions during weekdays, evenings, and weekends due to our delivery model.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lecturer in Business at Global Banking School, you will:
- Deliver management-related modules within the programme framework
- Develop and deliver comprehensive course materials
- Undertake learning, teaching, and assessment duties
- Provide student support and ensure engagement with the latest developments in your field
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess all aspects of student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met
- Develop, update, and refine course materials as needed
- Employ diverse teaching methods and materials to enhance education
- Engage with staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and administrative tasks
- Stay current with industry developments and student support best practices
- Contribute to achieving clearly defined objectives, including student attendance, progression, satisfaction, and completion rates

About You
Essential Criteria
- Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
- Have previous UK Higher Education lecturing experience in the broader field
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the subject matter
- Possess experience in supervising student work and providing constructive feedback
- Be adept at accurate reporting and maintaining organised student records
- Ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Experience working effectively with diverse groups

Desirable Criteria
- Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice (PGCEHE) or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to undertaking one within three years)
- Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) (or international equivalent)
- Experience in designing/developing academic or professional education programmes
