The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Maths lecturer on either a part-time or full-time basis to join our dedicated team of specialist teachers. You will be delivering GCSE Maths and functional skills to our learners. We are looking for an individual with relevant and up-to-date subject knowledge and experience, as well as the ability to prepare, plan, and deliver high-quality lessons.

  • Can you use innovative strategies to engage learners?
  • Do you have an understanding of quality assurance and assessment?
  • Are you able to engage a range of learners with diverse abilities? Including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

The ideal candidate will have a range of knowledge and experience within the FE (Further Education) sector with recent experience of teaching GCSE Maths, although we can offer opportunities to train up candidates new to teaching.

The post is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for their subject and ambition for creating opportunities for young people.

Positions are available at both the Weymouth and Kingston Maurward campuses.

Hours: Part-time (22 hours per week) or full-time (37 hours per week) positions available.

Salary: £31,363 (full-time equivalent) for qualified teacher status or level 5 equivalent
