Location: Rotherham Campus, Rotherham
Salary: £33,487 (Non-QTS) to £38,487 (QTS) per annum, plus benefits
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week, all year round)

What You'll Do
- Developing Advanced Skills: Teaching Level 3 T Levels, Level 3 BTEC, Level 4 (HNC) and Level 5 (HND) modules, focusing on complex engineering principles, analytical methods, and professional project management.
- Industry Standards: Aligning classroom delivery with current UK-specific professional standards, ensuring our Higher National students are work-ready for management and specialist technical positions.
- Lead Student Success: Monitor progress and provide the guidance necessary for timely achievement, while developing industry links that offer students vital work experience and enrichment.
- Collaborate and Adapt: Work as a motivated team player within our Rotherham Campus team, using a blend of practical, theoretical, and digital methods to bring complex engineering concepts to life.

The Technical Expert
- You hold a Level 4 or above vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related field) and possess significant industry experience.
The Educator
- You ideally hold a teaching qualification and assessor award. If not, we will support you to work towards these as you settle into the role.
Your Qualifications
- A Level 4 or above Vocational Qualification in mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
- A teaching qualification and Assessor award (or the drive and willingness to work towards them while on the job).
- Level 2 English and Maths (or a commitment to achieve these with our support).
Department Info
You'll never be working in a silo. Based at our Rotherham campus, you'll be a vital part of a dedicated curriculum team.
You will be supported by a Curriculum Manager and work daily with Curriculum Team Leaders who understand the nuances of construction education. You'll also collaborate with a wide net of professionals—including Technicians, Work Placement Officers, and Personal Development Coordinators—all dedicated to one thing: the success of our learners.
