Coastland College Media Lecturer
Coastland College is seeking an inspiring and innovative Media Lecturer to join our thriving department, which has grown from strength to strength in recent years. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team delivering contemporary media practice to a diverse range of students, supporting them as they prepare for successful futures in the creative industry.
The successful candidate will:
- Design engaging schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment strategies
- Deliver both practical and classroom-based teaching
- Assess student progress through formative and summative methods
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and achievement, ensuring all learners are supported to reach their full potential

You will play an active role in:
- Course management and student support
- Contributing to admissions, induction, careers guidance, and curriculum development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching
- Participating in course reviews
- Maintaining robust quality assurance processes

Hours: This position is fixed term until 30th June 2027 and is full time for 37 hours per week.
Salary: £31,363 for qualified teacher status or level 5 equivalent
