Lecturer in Paramedic Science (AC3)

AC3: £50,253 - £56,535 per annum
Full time: 35 hours per week
Permanent

This role may be eligible for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. THE POST – REQ000585 - Lecturer in Paramedic Science

The Faculty of Health, Education and Social Care are seeking a Lecturer in Paramedic Science to join the department of Mental Health, Midwifery and Paramedicine.

This is an opportunity to join an inter-disciplinary team delivering the Paramedic Science at our state-of-the-art facilities at Lanarkshire campus within the Division of Biological Sciences and Health. There will be an opportunity to contribute to learning, teaching and research across the school.

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • Degree and relevant postgraduate qualification in health or related area.
  • An experienced professional in the field of Pre-hospital emergency care (HCPC, GMC or NMC registered), ideally with experience of research in higher education.
  • Experience of learning, teaching and assessment within Higher Education or practice education. A postgraduate qualification in education/teaching and learning, and/or HEA fellowship are desirable.
  • Commitment to delivering high quality teaching and supporting an outstanding student experience.
