Lecturer in Photography and Media
We are looking for a Lecturer in Photography and Media to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, fixed term until June 2027 role offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities
- To carry out formal scheduled teaching, academic tutorials, and assessments. To include the preparation of learning materials, students’ assignments, and to support students in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self-directed study.
- Marking of students’ work and examinations, internal moderation and verification, as part of the team.
- To manage and maintain appropriate programmes, College records, and quality systems to ensure high performance.
- Management and supervision of student educational visit programmes.
- To work with and lead students, tutors, other departments, and external organisations such as schools, Higher Education Institutions, and Awarding Bodies.

Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Photography or Media
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Level 2 English and Maths
- Successful teaching experience of post 16 learners within Creative arts
- Experience of planning and delivering effective teaching across a range of qualification levels within Creative arts and be familiar with associated assessment procedures.
- Knowledge of what makes effective teaching, learning, and assessment.
