We are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Plumbing to provide a high-quality level of teaching, learning and assessment, plus off-site support for apprentices and their employers.
- Maintain academic standards, keeping abreast of curriculum developments, and participate in course design, assessment and monitoring.
- Get involved in student recruitment, interviewing, induction and counselling, and act as a course tutor to appropriate student groups.
The ideal candidate for the role must hold a recognised Level 3 Plumbing qualification, combined with relevant and recent industrial experience. An assessor qualification would be an advantage and you must be willing to undertake the necessary teacher training if not already qualified. You will be a well organised and flexible individual, able to effectively manage your own time and resources, with excellent communication skills, able to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups in a clear and engaging manner.
