Role Description
The Lecturer of Law will deliver engaging online lectures and seminars to pathway and progression students, ensuring course content is clear, relevant, and aligned with academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The lecturer will conduct ongoing research to maintain up-to-date subject knowledge, incorporate contemporary legal issues into teaching, and contribute to curriculum enhancement. This is a part-time, remote role that requires effective online communication, participation in virtual faculty meetings, and collaboration with academic staff to support student success and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Strong academic and practical foundation in Law, with the ability to teach core legal principles clearly and accurately.
- Specialized expertise in Labor and Employment Law, with the skills to explain complex regulatory frameworks and workplace issues.
- Demonstrated experience in Lecturing or university-level teaching, including online delivery and student-centered instructional methods.
- Subject-matter knowledge in Criminal Law, with the ability to integrate contemporary case studies and ethical considerations into teaching.
- Research skills, including the ability to engage with current legal scholarship and apply findings to curriculum design and classroom practice.
- Advanced degree in Law (LL.M or equivalent; PhD or professional doctorate is an asset) from a recognized institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong online presentation and facilitation abilities.
- Experience teaching diverse, international student cohorts and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time teaching workload, and meet academic deadlines.
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments, digital teaching tools, and best practices in online higher education.
