We are especially proud of our Business Clinic, where students gain invaluable experience through live consultancy projects and the preparation of year-end accounts for external organisations. The Clinic works with a wide range of partners across the Liverpool City Region, providing impactful learning experiences and valuable contributions to the business community.
The Role
We are seeking to appoint an academic or practitioner to contribute to the teaching and learning in the area of Sport Business (particularly in the area of sports analytics or sports technology). You will have sport business industry experience within the Sport Business industry.
What we are looking for
- Ability to teach Sport Business, preferably in the area of sports analytics or sports technology, at undergraduate level in relevant lectures, tutorials and seminars.
- Experience of teaching at undergraduate level or delivering professional training.
- Evidence of knowledge and practical experience in sport analytics/technology.
- An active interest in women’s sport and the application of quantitative research methods to contemporary sport business issues (desirable).
- A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
- Have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience.
- A strong commercial awareness of the sport industry.
- Ability to provide excellent pastoral and academic support, advice and guidance to students that takes account of their individual needs and circumstances, signposting to specialist services where appropriate.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. A commitment to inclusive, research-informed teaching.
