Starting Salary & Progression
- Competitive range: £38,781 to £44,093 (dependent on experience, with potential for progression).
- Exceptional experience: Discretionary pay range can be discussed/considered for highly qualified candidates.

Placement & Liaison:
- Support matters related to clinical placement activity.
- Contribute to placement planning and liaison with placement supervisors.

Teaching & Departments:
- Deliver engaging/tutorial sessions and organise the academic timetable where required.
- Coordinate guest lecturers to enhance teaching delivery.

Module Leadership & Assessment:
- Develop and lead course materials, assessments, and marking to ensure curricula coherence.
- Contribute to module marking teams.

Student Support & Supervision:
- Provide academic mentorship and:
- Individual/group supervision for trainees.
- Support candidates in their doctoral supervision preparations.

** Requirements & Qualifications**
Essential
- Master’s degree in an appropriate subject OR
- Honours degree with relevant professional qualification (e.g., HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologists).
- Ability to obtain a teaching qualification in HE (or commitment to do so if not already held).
Advantageous
- PhD or active membership of an appropriate professional body.

- Demonstrable expertise in higher education teaching or research supervision.
- Passion for critical analysis on issues such as power, privilege, and innovation in healthcare.
- Strong digital skills in creating multimedia teaching materials.
- Therapy theory/practice knowledge suited to a doctoral-level program.
- Strong communication, organisational, and ethical handling of sensitive information.
